The 5 component program provides tools for literacy that work quickly and effectively to enhance students reading skills. Our reading program for the Deaf has two goals:
- To enable deaf students to read and sign more accurately as they begin the arduous task of simultaneously reading English while thinking in and learning ASL;
- To provide teachers and students of ASL a consistent method to begin learning the language.
